Ethiopia and Moldova Mega City Media Campaigns
Preparations for the Moldova evangelism campaign are underway. Moldova was part of the Soviet Union before its collapse in 1991. Today, independent Moldova finds itself in Russia’s sights both politically and militarily. The country is preparing for a rare and time-sensitive nationwide media campaign.
The Moldovan pastors’ conference, recently led by EU parliament member Valeriu Ghilețchi, has given strong support to move forward with the campaign to reach their nation of three million. The evangelism campaign is expected to commence towards the end of the year. We ask you to remember this pressing Moldova campaign in your prayers.
Ethiopia’s Extraordinary Campaign Could Reach 140 Million People
We live in a time and a world where mental anguish, brokenness, and spiritual hunger are increasing at a record pace. The winds across God’s harvest fields around the world are gaining momentum, more than ever before. There is anxiety, war, disease, and famine. Yet in the midst of it all, the Great Commission continuously moves forward. The focus of GCMM’s various ministries from the beginning of this summer includes Ethiopia, Moldova, Israel, Iran, and Ukraine.
100 Million Spiritually Hungry People in Ethiopia
I have just returned from Ethiopia. The country is home to approximately 100 million people belonging to three major ethnic groups. The campaign aims to share the message of the Gospel with the Amhara, Oromo, and Somali peoples in their own languages. The Somali population alone numbers around 40 million people!
The Ethiopian leaders partnering in this campaign are praying and working toward a remarkable goal: four million new believers within three years (2026–2029). This is an enormous vision! God specializes in enormous challenges. After all, He loved the whole world so much that He gave His only Son, so that no one would perish. Churches across Ethiopia are believing for a harvest of unprecedented proportions.
