Egypt Mega City Campaign Surpassed Every Expectation

The Egypt Mega City Campaign had its challenges, but it turned out to be more than we could have wished or prayed for. Despite the restrictions of Islamic society, GCMM saw an unexpectedly strong response from week one of the campaign.

The campaign message has reached over six million Egyptians, and feedback indicates that thousands have come to faith. Egyptians spent a total of 45,600 hours watching stories of God’s power to transform the lives of fellow Egyptians through cell phones and computers. There were shared testimonies of how Jesus has brought healing, restoration, and new direction and purpose in life through the Gospel.

Millions watched the campaign’s evangelistic videos, indicating a deep spiritual hunger for truth. To date, 20,000 people are in touch with campaign staff and 10,000 are in discipleship. Many have already been connected to local believers and Christian communities.

The broader 2025 campaign reporting also shows how significant the Egypt Mega City Media Campaign became: it united more than 350 churches, distributed more than 38,000 campaign books, and recorded 5,554 people praying a prayer of forgiveness to receive Jesus. It also notes that over 23,000 people are being followed up as they explore Christianity and Jesus.

We thank God for the response to the Egypt Mega City Campaign. In a place where ministry requires wisdom and flexibility, the Gospel is still opening hearts. Through testimonies, campaign books, videos, and follow-up, many Egyptians are hearing the message of Christ and taking steps toward faith and discipleship.
