Encounters with the Messiah in Israel
As history and the present intersect, a message of hope and salvation resonates. GCMM supports diverse projects in Israel, where Jews encounter the living God – often for the first time in their lives. Amidst their spiritual searching and painful history of the past, more and more are finding their way to the Messiah.
How the Gospel has met the Jews:
Wilderness celebration for new immigrants
This year, a unique celebration will be held in Ashkelon, where hundreds of newcomers will hear about God's guidance and redemption – not just as something of the past, but as a living reality today.
The celebration is being organized by Beit Hallel church, and 150 new immigrants receiving humanitarian assistance have been invited to the event. The Easter message will remind them that the challenges of the wilderness were part of the journey toward the Promised Land – just like the journey in their own lives now.
This celebration is not just a Passover meal, but an encounter with the living God who opens new beginnings and gives hope. For many participants, this can be a moment when they see the challenges of their lives in the light of God's greater plan.
TV footage of stories of hope in Ashdod
The Ashdon congregation is one of the most vibrant communities in Israel. Amid the shadow of wars and crises, real life stories were filmed - of how God has helped in the midst of difficulties. These stories are being shared in evangelistic campaigns and prepared for publication as a campaign book.
Bible Club in the Heart of Jerusalem
Elderly people whose lives are haunted by memories of the Holocaust have found connection and hope in the A–Z Bible Club. The idea of the club is to review the basics of the Bible. The teaching of God's covenants is combined with music, crafts and community. For many, the path has led to Jesus, the Messiah.
GCMM programs are seen more widely than ever
Since the beginning of 2025, the GCMM Israeli Department's TV and radio programs have gained more visibility. The programs now reach hundreds of thousands of people in Israel and abroad. New Internet-based television channels (IPTV) and Christian radio take the message to homes that traditional television and radio channels do not reach.
GCMM’s longstanding work in Israel is possible with the support of our friends.
Every prayer and donation is likened to a seed, from which new life can grow.
