On May 15 the evangelistic city campaign in Jericho that reached the Palestinians in the region, came to a close. The campaign website recorded over 83,350 hits. The office and call center received hundreds of emails and phone calls.

During this campaign we utilized Facebook and Skype to allow people to chat online with counsellors to receive answers to their questions about the power to change that comes only from God.

People with addictions asking for help

An alarming amount of calls from Arabic-speaking Muslims were from those asking for help seeking to be free from the bondage of their addictions.

—One person asked me who we are. He had seen the campaign ads but did not want to receive a DVD or campaign book from us but someone who would help him to be free of his drug habit, Jericho’s campaign coordinator George Kawaneh says.

We are not trying to convince the palestinians into following a new doctorine, rather to be free of their vices throught the power of the Gospel message.
