When the Gospel Reaches Beyond Closed Doors

Reaching Homes Across the Middle East with the Gospel

Somewhere in a home in the Middle East, Asia, or Africa, someone may be searching for answers to questions they do not feel safe asking out loud. A television screen or a phone may be the only private way for them to hear about Jesus.

That is why GCMM’s Middle East ministry is preparing to produce more than a thousand new Christian teaching and evangelistic television programs.

Behind every satellite dish is a home, and inside every home are people carrying their own questions, fears, and hopes. One person may turn on the television only after everyone else has gone to sleep. Another may quietly use their phone to search for answers to spiritual questions they cannot discuss with family or those closest to them.

Then, on the screen and in their own language, they encounter a message of hope—a program that speaks about a loving God, His forgiveness, and the new life found in Jesus.

For someone searching quietly, a single program may become the beginning of a journey of faith. Sometimes, that one encounter can have a lasting impact.

More Than a Thousand Opportunities to Share Hope

GCMM’s Middle East ministry is preparing to produce more than a thousand new Christian teaching and evangelistic television programs.

It is a significant undertaking, but the opportunity to reach people is even greater.

Produced in languages people know and understand, these programs communicate the message of the Bible in ways that are clear, relevant, and faithful to the Gospel.

Ultimately, the goal is about much more than producing a thousand programs. It is about creating more than a thousand opportunities for people to encounter the hope of Jesus—wherever they may be.

The potential reach can already be seen through previous ministry efforts.

In 2025 alone, GCMM produced approximately 1,000 programs in Arabic, Farsi, Tajik, and North African languages. Broadcast through 16 satellite channels, these programs reached across the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, Africa, Asia, Indonesia, and Europe, with a potential audience of approximately 1.3 billion people.

But numbers tell only part of the story.

Each month, these broadcasts generated as many as 150,000 responses and messages. Behind every response was a person—someone asking a question, searching for answers, beginning a conversation, or simply asking for prayer.

This is where the impact of media ministry becomes deeply personal.

Sharing the Gospel Through Digital Screens

Alongside television, social media has opened new opportunities for sharing the Gospel.

Younger generations, in particular, spend much of their time online. This creates opportunities to reach them through short videos, biblical teaching, and personal conversations.

Digital platforms allow GCMM and its ministry partners to connect with people who may otherwise be difficult to reach. For someone living in a place where openly discussing Christianity may be challenging—or even dangerous—a phone can provide a more private way to search for answers.

The impact of this approach was clearly seen during a recent media outreach in Egypt.

The campaign generated more than 44 million views. More than 25,000 people entered personal conversations with follow-up teams, and approximately 4,000 people prayed to receive Christ. The majority came from a Muslim background.

Yet the significance of this outreach goes far beyond statistics.

Behind every view, every conversation, and every prayer is a person with a story and a life of immeasurable value. Each represents someone who had an opportunity to hear the Gospel and take a step toward faith in Jesus.

Media Opens the Door—Personal Connection Follows

Media can open a door, but it can never replace personal connection.

That is why GCMM’s ministry team in the Middle East also continues visiting remote and difficult-to-reach communities where opportunities to hear the Gospel may be limited.

Sometimes a single conversation, prayer, or word of encouragement can take root in someone’s heart. We may not immediately see the difference it makes, but even a simple encounter can leave a lasting impact.

Media outreach and personal ministry work together.

A television program or digital message can spark a question, awaken interest, or begin a conversation. Personal follow-up can then provide what media alone cannot—someone willing to listen, pray, answer questions, and walk alongside a person as they explore faith and take their next steps.

You Are Part of This Work

Producing a television program requires many people working together—from writing and filming to translation, editing, and technical production.

Digital ministry requires its own team, while responding personally to messages requires trained people who are prepared to listen, answer questions, and pray. Reaching people in remote communities also requires travel, planning, and trusted local relationships.

But there is another essential part of this ministry: the people who pray and give to make it possible.

To every friend and supporter of GCMM, we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every gift.

Your partnership helps carry the Gospel to people you may never meet and into places you may never personally visit.

Together, we are helping people encounter the hope of Jesus—even beyond closed doors.

Pray With Us—and Help Us Walk Through Open Doors

Please pray with us for:

  • the completion of more than 1,000 new television programs
  • the financial needs of this ministry
  • strength, wisdom, and good health for our team in the Middle East
  • new opportunities to share the Gospel through television and digital media
  • the personal ministry and follow-up taking place in remote communities
  • and above all, that people would hear the Gospel and discover new hope in Jesus

There is still much work ahead, but there is also tremendous opportunity.

We believe God can open doors that we could never open on our own—bringing the message of the Gospel into homes, communities, and lives that may otherwise be difficult to reach.

Let’s pray together. Let’s serve together. And together, let’s continue carrying the message of the Gospel forward.

Your support can help bring the Gospel into a home whose door we may never be able to enter ourselves.

Every gift helps move the message one step closer to someone who is still waiting to hear it.
