It is now possible to watch world reknown TV evangelist Father Zakaria on satellite TV.
In early April 2011 the Arab-language satellite channel, Fady TV (Redeemer TV), began broadcasting with a footprint coverage in the US, Canada and Mexico as well as on the internet. The channel started to beam into the Middle East by the end of November, 2011.
The satellite TV channel is a big boost to evangelizing the Islamic world. Seven hours of live television that displays a call-in phone number to allow viewers a chance to discuss Christianity further. Calls coming in are at times so great that the phones are overloaded and crash.
"The use of media has proven to be one of the strongest influences of the masses in modern day history. Media incorporates all manner of written text, radio, TV, social networking and the internet. Redeemer TV is also part of this phenomena," says Father Zakaria. He believes a spiritual awakening will start when people begin to seek the freedom that is in alignment with the Gospel. "Then they will accept the gospel message."
"When people come out from under the darkness and authoritarian rule of Islam they will have the freedom to make their own choices. They will have the freedom to believe as they choose—the freedom of choice," Father Zakaria theorizes.
GCM Ministries partner ministry in Finland, IRR-TV, produces 40% of the Arabic-language programming for the channel at the moment.
Father Zakaria is the first preacher in history who has dared to publicly expose the disturbing false teachings found in the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam. He is an apostle sent from God to the Islamic world according to many Arab pastors from Middle Eastern countries.
Father Zakaria Botros was ordained in the 1950s as a priest in Egypt, his home country. He hosts a 90-minute TV program with a viewing audience of about 50 million Muslims every day in North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. At least 1,000 Muslims per month make decisions for Christ by contacting his call center. Some come to faith while watching his live broadcast. Father Zakaria also has a website that receives millions of visitors from those seeking the truth.
