| Great Commission Media Ministries’ (GCM Ministries) outreach in Israel is helping Russian Jews find their Messiah. Here is one recent testimony:
Alex Faibi, GCM Ministries’ follow-up ministry supervisor in Rehovot tells us, “About three months ago, we met Natasha, a pediatrician, whose husband is a psychiatrist. Natasha was heartbroken because their son was a drug addict.”
In spite of both parents being docto rs, they were unable to help their son. They tried their utmost on behalf of the boy, but to no avail.
Then Natasha was surprised to learn that their son had found faith in God at a rehabilitation center. God helped him turn his life around. Natasha and her husband had never believed in God, so this news was way beyond her understanding, but the wonderful change in her son caught Natasha’s attention and interest.
“We met with Natasha and shared with her about the way of salvation. The Gospel message touched her deeply and God opened her heart. It wasn’t long before she wanted to be baptized”, Alex Faibi recalls.
So our counselors visited Natasha and taught her about baptism. At first, Natasha's husband wanted nothing to do with the conversation and excused himself into another room. However, 10 minutes later he began to linger by the door. When Natasha called to her husband to come back into the room, he finally gave in.
As he listened to the teaching on baptism, it began to touch him. After two weeks, God opened his heart. This professional couple experienced a complete transformation and in early October, they were baptized in the Jordan River along with 15 others.
