FSB to Silence Evangelical Christians PDF

The countdown has begun to the end of years of open proclamation of the Gospel in Russia. A meeting of regional Bishops of the Union of Christians of the Evangelical Faith took place in Moscow in August.

The FSB (Russia’s state security police) has drawn up plans to silence all non-Russian Orthodox churches. Their goal of the FSB is to minimize the influence of the Protestant churches in Russian society, to restrict all Church activity to within the four walls of places of worship.

The Bishops fear that the FSB plan will be fully implemented within two years. Mega City Evangelism Campaigns conducted by Great Commission Media Ministries across Russia since 2003 will be all but banned. This is despite guarantees of freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, the right to assembly in the Russian constitution. Russian society has gone full circle and returned to the authoritarian days of the former Soviet Union.

In the meeting of evangelical leaders in Moscow, the Bishops made a plea for GCM Ministries to continue to conduct Mega City Evangelism Campaigns while the opportunity still exists. There is a will. God has promised a way.  Will you be a part of the solution to send us by supporting these highly effective city saturation campaigns.

Changed Lives

My Life Was a Shambles
saved1

I cannot deny the power that changed my life. I am a housewife that has done much sin. I was a heavy drinker. My life was in shambles. I went out to the meeting and they prayed for me. I cried all the way home. I was delivered from alcohol and fear. Now I can live a new life!

- Larissa, Housewife
