Great Commission Media Ministries (formerly IRR-TV)

In the first part of this podcast, Hannu shares about GCM Ministries Kyrgyzstan ministry. Great Commission Media Ministries has conducted a modern evangelism outreach using media in Osh and Jalal-Abad Kyrgyzstan as well as an early city evangelism campaign in Bishkek. By God’s grace, we were able to reach over 2 million souls in these cities for Christ while conditions were favorable.

But in June 2010, the civil unrest in this Russian speaking Central Asian nation effectively shut the doors to evangelism and created a humanitarian crisis literally overnight. Great Commission Media Ministries answered a call from Kyrgyz churches and provided them with two truckloads of humanitarian aid, allowing them to minister to those in desperate need.

In the second part of this podcast, Hannu shares about how GCM Ministries media evangelism outreach to Palestinian Arabs 2 years ago, continues to have an growing impact. Evangelism materials distributed in 2008 continue to circulate and people continue to call the phone number given, looking for answers to life.
